Casulo means cocoon in the artists mother language. In this performance, she stages a symbolic birth of a dead organ, while reflecting personally on the topic of abortion. She expels a set of mini sculptures embalming shards of a convex mirror which was previously owned by her mother's.
Through working on a complete suit encapsulation, in this work she aims to touch upon topics of compulsory motherhood, shame within a fetus loss and resilience.
