Experimental Costume Workshop

The workshop focuses on sketching and shaping performance scenes with costume. We will explore how garments can become prosthetics of the body and support a narrative in the context of live intervention. I will share my practice as a fiber artist, with a focus on carrying diferent materials for costume like metal, large needles, and plastic.

Together, we will create storyboards, dismantle existing clothes, and hand-sew custom vests, experimenting with ideas like hidden pockets and stuffing for protection - while moving with objects that can be activated in performance. No sewing or performance experience is necessary — everyone is welcome.
